Mrs Joseph Blackburn was called to Oshnwa Jast week by the death of her course she does not hunt uo Sunday. She also captured two groundhogs, and squirrels, birds, chipmonks and mice in quantity. No cat larder was aver as well supplied. A peculiar tbiug about her hunting proclivities is that this cat always brings her prey home alive, and will never pro- ceed to portion it out among her progeny until she hs attracted the attention of the family and proudly drawn their at- tention to her prowess. The rabbits and groundhogs were larger than the cat herself and must have entailed a lot of bird work on pussy's part to get them home intact and with life still in them. 'UIL.
