Funeral of The Late C. Hales Held On Friday The funeral of the late Charles Hales, whose death we chronicled last week, was held on Friday afternoon last from the home of his sister, Mrs. A. Sinclair, Ceylon, to Flesherton cemetery, and was largely attended. Rev. A. .1. Preston, pastor of the Bap- tist church conducted the service at the house and grave. Charley was a great sufferer from rheumatism for many years, but death came very sudden and unexpectedly. He arose in his usual state of health and was poking with the nurses, when his heart suddenly gave out and in twenty minutes he had passed away. Mrs. P. Xorris, a sister, of Drummer, Sask. came down to attend the funeral, and his brother, Will, of Toronto was also present.. James Hales of town is a brother. We extend sympathy to the family. The pallbearers were W. J. and Nat Caswell. A. S. Muir. W. H. Hales, Roy Gib.'jon and Lachlan Mc.\rthur. The floral tributes from friends and rela- tives were niany and covered the casket.
