O. club held their August meeting at the home of Mrs. Chas. Newell, with a good attendance present. The pro- gramme was given by the Vandeleur ladies, and everybody thoroughly en- joyed themselves. EUGENIA THE LATE MR. BULLIVAN After a prolonged ilness of gan- grene and dropsy, Mr. John Bulli- i van passed away on Monday Aug- : ust 2nd. He suffered a great deal ! at times and death was the only re- lief for his sufferings. He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jas. Fawcett with whom he has been i living. He was gently cared I for by his wife and daughters yet death conquered all. He wa.s in his seventy-seventh year. He was mar- â- ried twice. He is survived by his i second wife, two daughters, one at Gait, and Mrs. Fawcett here, one ; son in Winnipeg, another son made I the supreme sacrifice in the Great jWar. Interment took place in the j fanxily plot near Duhdalkl. Rev. I -Andrews of the United church, of I Dundalk, officiated at the house I and grave. A number of pretty floral I tributes were placed on the casket. The funeral was by motor. We ex- tend our sympathy to the bereaved wife and (friends. / The pall-bearers were Messrs .1.
