Miss Amelia Wright Died in United States The death of Miss Amelia Wright, a native of Artemesia tovrnship, oc- eurred at the home of her brother, Mr. T. Edward Wright, St. Louis, Missouri, on Wednesday of last week, at the age of 80 years. Deceased had not been in good health for a number of years, but was only ill for a week and a half prior to her death. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thorpe Wright, early resident of Artemesia, and re- sided for many years on the farm, one and a half miles south of Flesherton. She later moved to To- ronto and following the death of her father, left 1? years ago to reside with her brother at St. Louis, who mourns the loss of a devoted sister. There is also one other sister, Mrs. Erie Strain, Great Falls, Montana. The remains arrived in Flesherton on the noon train, Tuesday, and the burial took place immediately, inter- ment being made in the Wright plot in Flesherton cemetery. Rev. G. K. Deceased had been ill for a luinibur of days, a slight stroke anil pneumonia being the cause of his death. He farmed three miles south of Flesh- erton for many years and retired to this village for one year and then moved to Dundalk, where he has re- sided for the past twelve years. His first wife was the lut< Mary Field, who passed away in l!iOG. In 1908 he married Araminta Radley. Two sons and two daugh- ters, all by the. first marriage, sur- vive. They are Joseph of Oimtlalk, Edward, Proton Station, Mrs. Leslie Hrooks and Mrs. John Yule of To- ronto. Five brothers also survive. Albert of Victoria Corners, William, Port Dover, Joseph and Robert of British Columbia and Richard in California. Three sisters predeceas- ed him.
