A Fatal Paralytic Stroke.
Last Wednesday, Mrs. Margaret Griffith, who has for some years resided with her son, Mr. William Gurney, Church street, was afflicted with a paralytic stroke, from which she never rallied. She was previously weak and compartively helpless, having been confined to her room for the past year, and this additional affliction resulted in her death on Saturday morning. A funeral service was conducted at the residence on Sunday morning by Rev. R. Phillips, after which the cortege proceeded to Fergus, the former home of deceased for interment, where a large concourse of friends had met to pay the last tokens of respect.- Featured Link
