Death of an Esquesing Pioneer.
Last week the death of Mrs. James Brown, Sr., mother of Mr. James Brown, farmer, of this place, occurred at her home near Limehouse. Mrs. Brown came to Esquesing with her husband over fifty years ago, and resided on the farm then taken up until her death. The family has always been highly esteemed. Mrs. Brown became a widow thirteen years ago. For the past five years her health has been rather poor, and for over four months she has been unable to leave her room. Her decease will be learned with regret by hundreds who shared her kindness and enjoyed her hospitality in years gone by. The remains were carried to their last resting place by her six sons.- Featured Link
