- LIMEHOUSE.
A fatal accident occurred between here and Georgetown on Sunday morning, by which John Wright, a brakeman, on a special freight train lost his life. He was on a train which left Toronto about midnight. The train had reached Georgetown, and when near Limehouse it was found that a couple of cars were off the rails and also that Wright was missing. A couple of the trainmen started back in search, and found his mangled remains on the track near the seventh line, both arms torn off, his lamp in the middle of the track. It is supposed while passing between two cars he missed his footing and slipped and that his body had thrown the cars off the track. The train ran to the yard here with the trucks of the two cars off the track. The remains were taken to Toronto. A wife and child are left to mourn his loss. - Featured Link
