ERIN
Mr. Neil McKinnon, one of the earliest, best known and most highly respected residents of Erin Township, passed away on Christmas afternoon, at his residence, Cork street, Guelph, after a few day's illness. He was close on 73 years of age. About two and a half years ago he moved into the city, and has since enjoyed the quiet and rest earned by many years of toil. He came to Erin in 1833, with his father's family and walked there all the way from Toronto. In politics he was a life-long Reformer, and did yeoman's work in the cause. He was a native of Clachan, Argyllshire, Scotland.- Featured Link
