No less than three funerals as a result of that dread disease consumption have taken place from Rockwood within a week. On the 28th ult. was that of Mrs. Stephenson, of Toronto; on Friday, the 14th year-old son of Robt. Stump, an employee of the G.T.R., was buried at the stone church burying ground, and on Monday there was buried Miss Annie McIntosh, step-daughter of Mr. David Stewart, who died after a lingering illness on Saturday morning. Her remains were followed to the Everton Cemetery by a very large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends. - Featured Link
