- CREWSON'S CORNERS.
A very sudden death occurred here last Friday morning when Mr. John Lamb, an old and respected resident was called away. Mr. Lamb retired the evening before in his usual health, but when called to breakfast next morning there was no response and his son-in-law, Mr. William Dennis, found that he had gone to his eternal home. A stroke of paralysis was probably the cause.
Mr. Lamb was born in Scotland in 1819 and emigrated to Canada 48 years ago. Shortly after settling here he was married to Miss Margaret Laing, and they commenced life on the farm here where he died. His partner in life preceeded him to the grave seven years ago. The remains were interred in the Osborne cemetery, the service being conducted by Rev. John Hart. Deceased leaves behind him three sons and three daughters to mourn his departure. - Featured Link
