- "Dannie" Nichol, who has been frequently observed about our streets of late years, died at the home of J. Watson, fifth line Esquesing on Tuesday. Since the receipt of his pension arrearages a few months ago he and the late Alex. McNabb, who died in the same home last week, were intimate cronies. Whiskey was his bane, and while money lasted he was rarely sober.
