- GEORGETOWN.
The citizens here were shocked on Saturday on receiving the sad intelligence of the death of our reeve, Mr. Donald McKenzie which took place after only a few days' illness. His wife preceeded him a number of years ago. He had been reeve since a year ago April, and was highly esteemed by the ratepayers, and his untimely end is universally regretted. The funeral, which took place on Monday was largely attended. He was about 60 years of age and leaves two sons to mourn their loss. - Featured Link
