Killed by a Falling Tree, at Norval.
On Tuesday morning Mr. William McLaughlin and his brother went out to the woods near Norval to cut wood. While engaged in sawing a tree which had been lodged between two others the tree sprang back striking Mr. McLaughlin in the temple, killing him instantly. Dr. Webster was hastily summoned, but the vital spark had fled. Mr. McLaughlin was highly esteemed by all who knew him. The sorrowing friends have the sympathy of the whole comunity. The funeral takes place from his late residence to-day at 2 o'clock.- Featured Link
