ERIN
The many friends of Dr. A. H. McKinnon, in Erin, will regret to learn of his death which took place at the residence of his brother-in-law, John McKinnon, in Everton, last Saturday. Feeling his health not good, he retired from practice in Hillsburg more than two years ago and took a trip to England. On his return he settled in Toronto and practiced there until July last, when his illness began to assume a more serious aspect. Some six weeks ago he went to Everton in the hope that a change of air and scene would benefit him. At first he felt improved by the change and continued to gain until about a week ago, when his trouble, which was of an internal nature, gained the mastery. He was a son of the late John McKinnon, of Norval, and after passing through the medical college, he commenced practice in Hillsburg about 1876. During fifteen or sixteen years' residence there, he had a very large practice. He was a skilful and careful physician, and although a little outspoken sometimes, he was much respected by his patients and by his friends and acquaintances generally.
