Death removed from our midst the week before last one of our most respected neighbors, Mr. O. Thornton, who has been ill for a number of months. He passed away very peacefully Thursday afternoon about 2 o'clock. A large number attended the funeral held the following Saturday. Deceased was in his 49th year and leaves a wife, three sons and a daughter to mourn their loss. An impressive sermon was delivered by the Rev. G. A. Mitchell, B.A., to the sorrowing friends.
