The death of Mrs. Peter Bennie, an old and respected resident, took place at her home, lot 10, on the 9th line, on the 16th inst. She was 71 years of age. Mrs. Binnie[sic.] was a very intelligent, thoughtful woman and the kindest of mothers. She leaves behind to mourn deeply the loss sustained three sons and three daughters. Two of the sons are in the North-west, and James on the homestead with his two unmarried sisters.
