- NASSAGAWEYA.
We have to record this week the death of Robert Park, who died on Thursday, Apr. 26th, aged seventy-five years and seven months. Mr. Park had been ailing for a long time with bronchitis, which finally turned to consumption. Through all his long illness he bore his trouble with Christian patience. The funeral took place on Saturday from his residence near Knatchbull to the Ebenezer cemetery, where the remains were interred. The pall-bearers were Messrs.Robert, William and Thomas Park, Richard Ball, Mr. Muir and Mr. Tomlinson. The Rev. Dr. Scanlan conducted the burial service and preached the funeral sermon. - Featured Link
