Description

Death of a Former Acton Merchant.
The sad news reached Acton on Monday of the death of Mr. R. B. Jermyn, Merchant, of Niagara Falls. Mr. Jermyn had been ill for several weeks with typhoid fever. The remains were conveyed to Georgetown on Monday, and the funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon from the home of Mrs. Jermyn's parents there. Mr. Jermyn was for several years a merchant in Acton and occupied the store at the corner of Mill and Main Streets, now occupied by D. Kopman. He removed to Niagara Falls seven or eight years ago. Mrs. Jermyn and five little ones are left to mourn the loss of the head of the home, who was called when in the full prime of manhood, - forty years of age. Much sympathy is felt by Acton friends for Mrs. Jermyn and her little ones in their heavy bereavement.
