- A Sad Bereavement.
The remains of a bright, lovable daughter, just merging into attractive young womanhood, were interred in Fairview Cemetery yesterday afternoon. She was Maidie, the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Stone, of Toronto, and died at her father's home on Sunday after a lingering illness from lung trouble. The remains were brought to Acton on Tuesday and the funeral was held from the home of the grandfather of the deceased, John Warren, Esq., ex-Warden, at 2.30 yesterday afternoon. Much sympathy is felt by their many friends here for Mr. and Mrs. Stone in their affliction. The burial rites were performed by Rev. W. S. McAlpine assisted by Revs. Smith, Macpherson and Dick. - Featured Link
