A gloom has been cast over our village by the sudden death of Mr. Wm. Hill. He was in his 73rd year. He left work Friday evening apparently in good health, but was taken sick through the night: a doctor was sent for but by Saturday evening life was extinct. He was in the employ of the Toronto Lime Co. for about 20 years. He was a loving husband and kind father, of a quiet and retiring disposition, and had many friends who will often "sigh for the grasp of a vanished hand and the sound of a voice that is still." The remains were followed to the church by a large funeral cartage where a service was held by the Rev. R. A. Cameron assisted by Rev. A. E. Smith. The interment took place in Limehouse Cemetery. A widow, three sons and a daughter are left to mourn his loss. The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved family. - Media Type
