- The Late Mrs. Robert Watson.
Elizabeth Cochrane, widow of the late Robert Watson, Sr., who died at the family residence, lot 27, Con. 5, Esquesing, on the 23rd May, was born in the Highlands of Scotland in 1811. She was married to her late husband in 1831, and three months later the young couple came to Canada. They first resided at Streetsville for three years, and sixty years ago settled on the farm where she died. Mr. Watson predeceased her six years ago last August. The family comprised eight children, of whom the following survive: Mrs. John Todd, Detroit; James and Henry at Killarney, Man.; Mrs. William Perryman, Toronto; John and Robert, and Mrs. Wm. Sprowl, Esquesing. A daughter, Catherine, died about twenty years ago. - Media Type
