- Died on Saturday in Guelph.
The Guelph Herald says: "The name of the man found dead in the Imperial hotel on Saturday morning is Thomas Welsford. Deceased, it appears, was a resident of Acton. He left home about two years ago, and since then has not been living with his wife or family. His wife came to Guelph this morning and identified the remains." The deceased never lived in Acton. He was the husband of Mrs. Welsford, but for fourteen years they have not lived together. Mrs. Welsford has lived in Toronto for a couple of years, but has lately been visiting her daughter here. She went to Guelph Monday upon hearing of the death of her husband. The remains were taken to the Anglican church, Rockwood, Tuesday, and interred at the churchyard there. - Media Type
