Death of Mrs. James E. Cobban.
After a long-continued illness death came to Mrs. James E. Cobban, widow of the late James E. Cobban, at the family residence, Bower Ave., on Tuesday evening. For over thirty years Mrs. Cobban has been a most highly esteemed resident of Acton, and she and her family have been among our best citizens. She was a godly woman and a most consistent and active member of Knox Church for many years. Mr. Cobban died in February, 1899. A son and three daughters are left to mourn the loss of a mother beloved. They are Mitchell, of the Ottawa Citizen; Mrs. Dr. Elliott and Mrs. John McDermid, Georgetown, and Miss Clara at home. The funeral will be held this afternoon at three o'clock; interment to take place in Fairview Cemetery.
