Mr. A. J. Little, postmaster at Guelph, died at St. Joseph's Hospital on Saturday. On Tuesday morning he underwent an operation for gallstones, and seemed to be doing fairly well for a time afterward, but peritonitis set in. He suffered greatly, but was conscious to the last. His one regret was that he had not an opportunity of bidding good-bye to his friends, and they were legion. Mr. Little was a native of Puslinch, and entered Guelph Post Office when a lad of fifteen, thirty years ago. - Media Type
