Guelph's Popular Postmaster Dead.
Mr. A. J. Little, postmaster at Guelph, died at St. Joseph's Hospital on Saturday. On Tuesday morning he underwent an operation for gallstones, and seemed to be doing fairly well for a time afterward, but peritonitis set in. He suffered greatly, but was conscious to the last. His one regret was that he had not an opportunity of bidding good-bye to his friends, and they were legion. Mr. Little was a native of Puslinch, and entered Guelph Post Office when a lad of fifteen, thirty years ago.
