- Georgetown Man Drowned in West.
A very sad double drowning accident happened at Shoal Lake, Man., last Friday night. There was a party of skaters on the lake, and two of the party, Miss Lizzie Harrison, of Shoal Lake, and Mr. Arthur Ingersoll, skated off by themselves about a mile south, and went through an opening. They were last seen about 9 o'clock and were not missed until late, when a search party went out. Both bodies were found. Arthur Ingersoll was until a few weeks ago a resident of Georgetown and occupied the position of tinsmith for Anthony & Howes. He was an exemplary young man. - Media Type
