Sudden Death of Ernest Eyre.
Walter Ernest Eyre, a carpenter, who has been in Acton for a couple of years, died somewhat suddenly early on Tuesday morning at his home on Church Street. He was working with J. B. Mackenzie, contractor, and having contracted a severe cold, quit work about a week ago. A diagnosis of his case proved he was suffering from tuberculosis. On Monday he had several hemorrhages, and on Tuesday morning nature succumbed. A widow and three small children survive. The family came to Acton from Bracebridge two years ago last August, and the first season the deceased worked with the contractors on the Beardmore houses. Two sisters came from Toronto on Monday. They arranged for the funeral and took the remains to Bracebridge for interment yesterday morning.
