Description
Full Text
Death of Editor Mungovan.
D. J. Mungovan, editor of the Orangeville Post for a score of years, died at his home in that town on Monday. Though blind from his youth, this man of untiring energy successfully edited a newspaper which spared not its foes, and was counted a live factor in every political fight in Dufferin. Brought up in a Grit family, in one of the strongest Liberal townships in the Dominion, he has conducted the Post as an extreme Conservative organ. Mr. Mungovan was ill for several months. He leaves a widow and four children.
