- Death of Two of Halton's Oldest Men.
Two of Halton's oldest and most respected residents have recently passed away in the persons of the late Owen Robertson, of Esquesing, who died last Friday at the home of his sister in Prince Edward County, and Albert Hall, of the 8th line, Trafalgar, who died on Saturday, the former in his 86th year and the latter in his 92nd year. Both of these pioneers were men of sterling character and greatly esteemed and respected in their respective localities. Mr. Robertson was a staunch Conservative, and occupied a leading place in the counsels of his party, while Mr. Hall was just as staunch a Liberal and gave that party his unwavering support. Mr. Robertson's funeral took place to Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Hall's funeral took place yesterday to Churchville Cemetery. Both funerals were largely attended. - Reformer. - Featured Link
