Description
Full Text
Death of Dr. Dryden, Guelph.
Dr. J. R. Dryden passed away on Tuesday evening at his home in Guelph, after a long-continued illness. The home is a sadly stricken one at present; Mrs. Dryden is seriously ill with typhoid in the hospital, two of the children have the whooping cough, and on Tuesday the Dr's mother received a stroke while waiting upon her son. Dr. Dryden had built up a very successful practice in Rockwood, and moved to Guelph a number of years ago, where he did a large office practice as a specialist in treatment of the eyes, ear, nose and throat. He was married to Jennie, daughter of the late W. H. Storey, Acton, twenty years ago, and she has been a most devoted wife and helpmeet. Three children survive. Much sympathy is felt by the large circle of friends and acquaintances here with the stricken family. The funeral will be private and will be held at Guelph, on Friday, at three o'clock.
