Funeral of Rev. C. Cookman
The funeral of the late Rev. C. Cookman was held at Weston on Wednesday evening of last week, and was conducted by five brother ministers who had been colleagues of deceased. The remains were brought to Acton Thusday morning and interred in Fairview Cemetery in the Hall family plot. The service at the grave was conducted by Rev. C. D. Draper, Acton, Rev. D. W. Snider, Elora, representing the Hamilton Conference. Messrs. James Moore, Wm. Hemstreet, Joseph Lasby, Thos. Elliott, Peter McNabb, and H. P. Moore were the pall bearers.
