MISS MARY JANE HYNDS<
News of the death of Miss Mary Jane ( Jennie) Hynds, Toronto, reached her brother, Reeve Hynds on Monday morning. Miss Hynds has been in poor health for some time and she passed peacefully away on Sunday morning. She was the daughter of the late George Hynds, Sr., and was born in Guelph on August 3rd, 1854. The family came to Acton about forty-five years ago and were esteemed residents for years. Miss Hynds spent her school days here and was a pupil of the late Robert Little. From Acton the family moved to Orangeville and later to Toronto where Mrs. Hynds died in 1890 and Mr. Hynds in 1903. Miss Hynds had many friends in Acton and was always accorded a cordial welcome when she visited in the old home. Reeve and Mrs. Hynds attended the funeral in Toronto on Tuesday.
