- OBITUARY
WILLIAM W. COOK
William W. Cook died on Wednesday morning, 26th March, at the city hospital, Hamilton. The deceased was 46 years of age and had been ill since last September, when he caught cold and contracted pleurisy. He was a member of the Commercial lodge, No. 9, C.O.O.F., and Royal Purple encampment, C.O.O.F.. He was also an active member of the Kensington Avenue Baptist Church. He taught an adult bible class in the Sunday School of that Church and took much interest in the religious work of the Bethel mission, and his loss will be keenly felt there. The deceased was born near Meaford but had resided here for 27 years and conducted a dyeing and clothes cleaning establiment. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, two daughters - Mrs. A. Browett, this city, and Miss Phoebe at home, - four brothers - John J., this city; E. K., of Acton, Ont., and the Revs. Charles and Judson Cook, of Spokane, Washington, and one sister, Mrs. Wm. Gripps, of Sault Ste. Marie. The funeral took place on Friday afternoon from J. H. Robinson's chapel. - Hamilton Times. Mr. E. E. Cook attended the funeral of his brother. - Featured Link
