- OBITUARY
NEIL McLEAN
Who spent his life of fifty-seven years on the first line, Erin, passed away on Friday last, after an illness of between two and three weeks. His ailment was an affection of the throat, which developed very rapidly. Mr. McLean was the eldest son of the late Donald McLean and was born on the homestead, two lots below his farm. On the December 4th, twenty-five years ago, he married Janet, daughter of the late Duncan McTavish, also of Erin. Mrs. McLean and four of their five sons and daughters survive. Those living are Jane Young, Donald, Mary and Duncan Herbert. Mr. McLean was an adherent of the Presbyterian Church and attended at Ospringe. The funeral on Sunday afternoon to Everton was largely attended. - Featured Link
