- OBITUARY
DAVID CARTY
After a prolonged illness David Carty passed away on Tuesday, November 15th, at his home, 262 Wellington St., North, Hamilton. Deceased was born in Nassagaweya in 1847 and for several years lived on the farm on the 1st line, Esquesing. He was married 33 years ago. He leaves to mourn him his wife, four sons and one daughter: Austin and James, of Hamilton, David, John and Lena at home and one sister, Mrs. J. J. Holland, of Hamilton, formerly of Acton. The funeral was held last Friday morning to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery and was well attended. The pall bearers were Mr. Wm. Thompson, Mr. Wm. Mullaney, Mr. Jas. Gibbons, Mr. Bincks, Mr. M. Bailey and Mr. Harris. Friends from a distance who attended the funeral were: Mr. Mullaney and Miss Mullaney, Brantford; Mr. Peter Gibbons, Mrs. John Dunn, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Gibbons, Acton. - Featured Link
