OBITUARY
ROBERT CARROLL
Robert Carroll, son of the late William Carroll, for many years a resident of Acton, died at his home in Toronto on the 3rd inst. The funeral took place to Norwood Cemetery on the following Tuesday. Mr. Carroll had been ill for nearly five months with heart trouble and was a great sufferer, but he always had hopes of getting well up to about a week before he died. He was very anxious to live until Harry, their eldest boy, got home from the war. He has been in France three years in November and is only twenty-two now. Their second boy has to report on the 18th of this month. Mrs. Carroll will be left with their daughter and youngest boy of sixteen. Much sympathy will be felt for the bereaved family by their numerous Acton friends.
