NASSAGAWEYA
The funeral of the late Prof. A. J. Galbraith, of Manitoba Agricultural College, who died at Winnipeg, took place on Thursday afternoon from the residence of his father-in-law, Marshal Holmes, Brookville, to the Nassagaweya Cemetery. The funeral was a Masonic one, and was held under the auspices of Waverly Lodge, No. 361, A. F. & A. M. Guelph, of which deceased was an honored member. The service at the house was conducted by Rev. Mr. Strachan, of Nassagaweya Presbyterian Church, assisted by Rev. H. E. Abraham, Rev. D. Blair, and Rev. H. E. Palmer, all of Guelph, and was very impressive. The Masonic brethren also held their own service at the house and the grave. The floral tributes to the memory of the deceased were very beautiful indeed, and bore silent testimony to the very high esteem in which he was held.
