The Bulls were determined to end the season on a winning note. This was evident when the steel first met the ice and they chalked up a 5-1 victory. Billy Mowat opened up the scoring in the first period, placing the rubber in the opposing net on a pass by Walter Kirkness. The Bulls decided to turn up the heat in the second period with goal number two coming courtesy of Walter Kirkness, driving the puck unassisted through the Eagles net minder. Not to be outdone, Carter Ebbinge, who received the puck from Dylan Schouten, popped in a well- placed shot through the Eagles defence for goal number three. Again the third period proved to be as hot as the second with Michael Evans giving the Bulls the solid lead with goal number 4, assisted by Carter Ebbinge and Walter Kirkness. Carter Ebbinge going solo finished off the scoring drive for the Bulls with goal number 5. Goalie Mason Overland carved up the crease, covering the Bulls net from side to side, top to bottom facing 18 Eagle drives. The solid defensive work of TJ Baker, Matt Fritz, Dylan Schouten and Brodie MacFarlane clipped the Eagles wings, shutting down their offensive drives.
