We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name, In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to love you, you did not go alone, For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Agnes, Children Theresa, Beverley, James, Keith and Esther and their Spouses and children and brothers Ken (Bernice) and Burt. We do know that the Liber- al Government does not keep their promises. They havent yet and there is no reason to believe that anything has changed. Steven Harper must have something going for him or the Liberals would not be running scared, trying so hard to demonize him. This election is a good chance to put our apathy and personal attractions aside and let the present government know resoundingly that we will no longer tolerate their arrogance and elitism. We, the people, pay the bills and we can call the tune. Lets do it! Eileen Hutcheson, Acton. Continued from page 10 Make govt accountable... To the editor: This evening (Friday, Dec. 30) my wife, her cousin and I dined at Tanners Restaurant. We enjoyed a marvelous, delicious meal in a friendly atmosphere, greatly enhanced by the welcoming and at- tentive service of the staff, particularly our server, Din- ean. As my wife went to the cash register to use her bank card to pay the cheque, I presented a gratuity to Dinean and we left the res- taurant. About an hour after we had arrived home, Din- ean called our home to say that my wife had also left a gratuity as part of the total amount charged to her bank card. Not only did Dinean take the time to let us know about the mistake, she took the time to deliver a refund of the amount to our home when her shift was over. WOW! It sure is Worth the drive to Acton when you can enjoy a superb meal in an enjoyable atmosphere like Tanners, served by someone like Dinean. Peter OMeara. Attentive service, honesty makes superb dining
