Heather represents North Halton while Ryan Durran a Grade 11 student at Assumption SS represents Burlington and Jaclyn Peluso, a Grade 10 student at St. Thomas Aqui- nas SS represents Oakville. The three student trust- ees represent almost 8,700 students at- t e n d i n g Halton Catho- lic secondary schools. Heather MacKinnon replaces An- thony Luna, a the right to be present at in- camera Board sessions. Heather MacKinnons ac- tive parish participation, involvement in public speak- ing and valedictorian at St. Francis of Assisi School in 2003 were cited as well as being an active volunteer in the community, dedicating time and service to local fundraisers such as Crop for Cancer and Relay for Hope. She also maintains a part-time job in retail and is enthused about the trustee position.
