Hooo won 19-3. Its been a while since I was able to say that. So excuse the excitement. Our first inning was lead off with walks to Kristine Ferris and Karla McDougall. Desiray Ebbinge hit a single and then Katie Patchett was up with the bases loaded, and she just hammered a homer. In the second inning we only scored one with good base running from Courtney Brown. The third was walks until Ashley Uiterwyck and once again with bases load- ed Ashley smashed a homer of her own. We ended up with five in that inning. Desiray and Karla walked in the fourth and once again Katie banged a double this time scoring both run- ners. Then we got a few more walks and a single from Ashley Stokman. We ended up scoring a total of 19. What a change! Katrina Harding was su- per on the mound, she also caught a pop fly. Courtney Battams surprised a runner on third when she drilled the ball to Ashley UIterwyck and got the girl trying to get a big lead. Katie and Ashley Uiterwyck made catches and throws to Karla on first for outs, as did Desiray and Katrina. Desiray went in to pitch in the final inning and did great, she also got an out at home plate throwing to Courtney Brown getting the lead runner.
