Freezie Boys funding matched To many he was simply known as Freezie Boy; a young boy pulling a blue wagon most weekday nights throughout the summer sell- ing freezies and water. But Robert Bohlken, a student at McKenzie Smith Bennett public school, is also known as a Playground Leader for raising $1,000 this past sum- mer for the MSB Playground fundraiser. With the help of the many soccer parents, children and local citizens, Robert was the first student to collect enough money to become an official sponsor of the campaign. Recently Roberts efforts were tripled by the generosity of Actons Rexall Pharma Plus and Fisker Contracting. Each company matched Roberts $1,000 donation. We are committed to the communities that we serve and are proud to contribute to the rebuilding of the McKenzie- Smith Bennett playground, said Perry Davidson, VP, Op- erations, Rexall Pharma Plus. We thank our pharmacist Anne Bohlken for bringing the project to our attention and applaud Robert, her son, for his achievement. With this donation, the play- ground campaign has reached $17,000. The campaign hopes to raise the $25,000 needed to replace the playground equip- ment that once stood on the north end of the school. It is great to see students, families, and local companies helping towards the fund- raising effort and making a real impact, says Melissa Secord, one of the members of the fundraising commit- tee. Everyone can make a difference. Anyone wishing to make a donation can go to the lo- cal Prosperity One branch in Acton.
