The program provides the opportunity for children to learn the absolute basics to survive near water. Swimming is an essential life skill, and all Canadian children need to learn to swim. With Halton Hills be- ing a water-rich community, it is extremely important that children learn basic lifesav- ing skills. Approximately 240 Grade 4 students in Halton Hills will be participating in the program, with the intent to expand in 2008. * * * * Keeping it real!
