Peace Rose 315) Peacefully in her sleep, in the company of her daughters on Thurs- day, July 26, 2007 at Extendicare Halton Hills at the age of 82 years. Dorothy was predeceased by her husbands Gordon Leroy Thompson (1967) and Murray Ralph Pyatt (1987). She will be sadly missed by her daughters Heather and Ro- berta and her stepchildren Kathy Jeffries and Marshall Pyatt. She was predeceased by her sister Marion, brother Robert and parents Bill and Ida Gifford. Dorothy was born on September 5, 1924 in Newcastle, N.B. She grew up in Newcastle, where she met and married Gordon Thompson. After the War they lived in Toronto and then moved to Acton in 1955 where they lived until mov- ing to Limehouse in 1966. Dorothy retired from Orenda Engines after more than 30 years of service.
