Present, Past & Future LEGION NEWS By James Hayes P.R.O. BRANCH NO. 197 Comrades, Last Sunday, the weather was as perfect as the turnout for the Annual Family Fun Day, and the inaugural Gary Munday Memorial Fishing Derby. It was a delight to listen to the sounds of lots of kids having fun while trying to win a prize. Thirty-five young hopefuls took up the challenge, and the winners were:- 2-4 yrs, Zachery Wilson 9 in. Bass; 5-6 yrs, Aidain Collarman 5 in. Sunfish; 7-10 yrs. Reilley Constable 12 in. Bass; 11-15 yrs. Jesse Hill 20 in. Pike. There were games for kids and adults and prizes for everyone. Special thanks go to Cathy Munday and her family for donating the fishing derby prizes, and for coming early to help set up. The game prizes this year were outstanding, and thanks go to Janet Garton and Kath- leen Bevan for their generous donations.
