Come to downtown Acton on Saturday, September 15th and enjoy the Fall Fair Parade which starts at 12:00 noon from McKenzie-Smith school through downtown Acton and ends at Prospect Park. The parade will be featuring the Acton Citizens Band, marching bands, fl oats and clowns! At the 94th Acton Fall Fair there will be the all-time favourite Ken-Jen petting zoo, Truck & Tractor pulls, 4-H show for both the cattle and horses. Albion Amusements will be back this year with their great show. The entertainment committee has been hard at work to bring us a great line-up again this year and dont forget the Miss Acton competition on Friday night in the new multi use Acton Agricultural Building. The Home crafts will also be located in the new building and the Fair theme this year is Something To Crow About Roosters. The Acton Fall Fair Program starts Friday, September 14 and from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. is education day for the schools and at 4:00 p.m. the gates open to the public. The midway will be in full operation, 6:00 p.m. is the heavy horse pull and 8:00 p.m. is the ever popular Miss Acton Fall Fair Pageant with entertainment by The Essentials. Saturday the gates open at 8:00 a.m., the Highway Truck Pull starts at 6:30 p.m. and the Garden Tractor Pull at 6:30 p.m. and at 8:00 p.m. Elvis Is In The Building featuring Justin Edwards, Gino Monopoli, Irv Cass Host & MC Ronny Craig. On Sunday the gates open at 8:00 a.m. featuring the Flaming Logger sports, Competitions of Log Sawing, Axe Throw and Chainsaw Cut to name a few.
