The donations from Scotia bank matched raffle ticket sales at the Mayors golf tournament which the bank had pledged. Making the presentation are Angela Horobin, Acton Scotiabank manager and Sandra Schulthies, Georgetown branch manager. Submitted photo LETTER To the editor, The report on the Under-16 Boys soccer championships written by Chuck Tysoe in last weeks newspaper had a couple of errors in it. The headline and article describe Caledon as being champions due to a forfeit, which is not the case. Because the game was abandoned with the score at 2-2, the outcome of the game is still to be decided by North-Peel Halton Soc- cer League, which is the Soccer club head says story wrong organizing body for the inter-town leagues in which Acton SC competes. Also, Rockwood did not make it to the semi-final, it was HEADS (Hillsburgh- Erin) that did so in their place.
