Wellington OPP said a 2002 Pontiac Aztec struck a Dodge Ram pick-up that failed to stop at the stop sign on the Sixth Line. The pick-up fled the scene while the Pontiacs driver, Wendy Yundt, 50, and her 10-year-old son were tak- en to Georgetown hospital where they were treated for minor injuries and released. Police continued their in- vestigation and located the pick-up and driver at his Sixth Line, Erin home. As they checked the driver for injuries, officers located a suspected marijuana grow operation inside the home. Wellington OPPs street crime unit and West Region OPPs drug unit searched the home the next day (Wed. Erin man faces charges after collision, drug bust Oct. 24) and seized approxi- mately 155 marijuana plants and clones, lights, scales and paraphernalia worth about $107,00 in street value. Ronald James Kutyneo, 47, of Erin Twp. faces four charges from the collision and three charges under the Controlled Drugs and Sub- stance Act. He was scheduled to appear in Guelph Court yesterday (Wed. Oct. 31) to answer to the charges. Halton Regions strategic Plan is now available and online at www.halton.ca/stra- tegicplan Halton Council approved the Strategic Plan earlier this year after a process involving Council workshops and public consultation. The strategic Plan represents Halton Councils vision for the future and sets councils priori- ties through a series of actions to achieve the goals which are then reflected in the annual Standing Committee Plans. It is important for the public to be able to readily access the Strategic Plan and Standing Committee Plans because these documents guide Councils decisions on the fiscal, policy and operational matters that directly affect the people of Halton, said Halton Regional Chair Gary Carr. The status reports show the progress be- ing made in the priority areas Council has identified and we encourage people to have a look at them as part of our commitment to transparency and accountability. All of the documents can be viewed on the Regions website at www.halton.ca/strategicplan and print copies of the Strategic Plan and Standing Committee Plans can be requested by con- tacting Access Halton in person at 1151 Bronte Road, Oakville, by phone at 905-825-6000, toll free at 1-866-4HALTON (1- 866-442-5866) or by email at accesshalton@halton.ca S t r a t e g i c p l a n o n l i n e
