(Levee Day) at 4 p.m. are still available at the bar. Membership Chair Larry McAfee wishes to remind us all that dues are due. Pay them now, and forget it for another year. The New Tanner Your Hometown Newspaper Town hires new Recreation Super The Town of Halton Hills hire a Recreation Supervi- sor, Frank Prospero, who is responsible for community development. Prospero, formerly with Get Active Now, a provin- cial organization he helped to establish, focused on im- proving the lives of persons with disabilities within their communities. He continues to be involved with recreation including Parks and Recre- ation Ontario (PRO) where he serves as president on their board. Recently, Prospero won the 2006 Judge George Fer- gus Award from the Ontario March of Dime and 2006 Community Partner Award from the Independent Living Centre of Waterloo Region for his work with community groups in the Region. The new supervisor says he is eager to get more involved in community groups.
