From Acton Denture Clinic All the best in 2008 Information sessions on French Immersion The Halton District School Board is offering Immersion and Extended French pro- grams for students beginning in Grade 1 (Early) and Grade 7 (Extended). In these bilin- gual programs, elementary school students attend one of Haltons French centres where they receive half of their instruction in English and the other half in French. This provides students with the opportunity to achieve a working command of French and to acquire the personal growth, knowledge and skills expected in the regular pro- gram at the same time. The Halton District School Board is currently preparing for September 2008 and in- formation sessions have been planned at the Boards French Immersion centres. Registration forms or the Immersion French program are available at any school in the Halton District School Board. The information session for Robert Little Public School will be held at the school on Thursday, January 17 at 41 School Lane, Acton at 7 p.m. Parents with questions about the Halton District School Boards Immersion French program, or regis- tration information, should contact Marcelle Faulds at the Halton District School Board, 2050 Guelph Line, Burlington, Ontario L7R 3Z2. Secure recyclables. Stack Blue Boxes on top of one another to prevent papers from blowing away. Place heavier items on top of lighter items. Flatten and tie large cardboard boxes and place securely underneath or be- tween recycling boxes. Tie cardboard in bundles no larger than 30x 30x 8 (76 cmx7 6 cmx 20cm). In one Blue Box, place loose glass bottles and jars, metal food and beverage cans, aluminum foiland pie plates, Styrofoam, plastic bottles, driinking boxes, and milk and juice car- tons. In a second Blue Box place flattened corrugated cardboard, fine paper, box- board and newspapers. Keep waste items clear of snow and visible to col- lect. Do not place items on top of snowbanks.
