Several more arrests and charges are expected. Police said the total amount of the mortgages was 7.45 million and small business loans totaled $750,00. The investigation focused on local business man, Nicola Mario Cortese, and several fam- ily-owned companies. Mortgage and loans were obtained over a period of two years through the use of fraudulent documents, police said.
